JOKER JACKPOT BINGO

 

Joker jackpot bingo is a real quick and short version of bingo with a couple of exceptions.  Instead of using round numbered balls and a bingo card, it is played with playing cards.  We will play seven games during the night at a cost of $5.00 per game. A cash prize will be paid out at the end of each game for half of the collected for that game. If $200.00 is collected from the players, the pot size will be $100.00.

 

Here is how the game is played:

 

    *For $5.00, a player gets three sets of three different playing cards stapled together as a complete packet…these are your bingo cards.

 

    *The caller has a full deck of 52 playing cards, randomly shuffled.

 

    *The caller calls individual cards from the deck until someone has a complete packet of three cards marked….BINGO.  The pot pay out is half of the take for the game.

 

    *The cards are collected at the end of each game and new cards will be sold prior to beginning the next game.

 

    *People will be selling raffle tickets that will be pulled after the conclusion of the final game.  The jackpot for the raffle will begin at $250 and increase weekly until the jackpot is paid out.

 

Here is how the jackpot raffle is played:

 

    *Raffle tickets will be sold 6 for $5.00 or $1.00 Each

 

    *The caller will call the winning ticket.

 

    *The holder of the winning ticket will win the opportunity to draw one of 53 envelopes in a box.  Each envelope holds a different playing card.  The JOKER IS THE JACKPOT WINNING CARD.

 

    *The caller will open the envelope and inspect the card. Only he sees that card.

      The caller will make an offer to buy the card from the player; if the player sells the card for the offer, the game is over.  If the player does not accept the offer and keeps the card, he/she will win the jackpot if the card is the JOKER.  If it is not the JOKER, the player receives nothing.

 

    *Each week that goes by and an envelope is removed, the odds of winning the jackpot are increased because the number of cards to select from is reduced by one.  The deck is re-shuffled if the JOKER is played and the next game starts with 53 envelopes.

 

    *Each week the jackpot will increase by half the amount of the money taken in by the raffle portion of the game for that week.  This jackpot can grow very fast depending on the amount of players.

 

During the night, food can be purchased from the kitchen, as well as drinks from the bar.  At least two times each night, the caller will have a drink chip card. Anyone have the card called by the caller on any of their packets gets a free drink.

 

This is a great game with the opportunity to win a sizable jackpot.  JACKPOT JOKER BINGO is a very popular game at other lodges and can be here as well.  Bring an appetite and a friend and let’s have a good time.  The first game will be the first (day to be determined) in March.
